Taking a look at DoD we see everything that would breath life back into CS, Stamina gets rid of the jumpy idiots, the wounding makes for a more realistic game, prone & grenades that actually blow things up. (Well ignore the unreliable & uninspiring Flashbangs (Two words Global Ops))
The summerblue reports reveals discrepencies in the use of automatic weapons, that turn the game into bullet fest.
Its a shame CS is a fabulous game, but its stuck with grotty old weapon skins, rudimentary maps & overley simple game play mechanics. It'd be a job to overhaul them but come on . . . Goose you know you wanna :-)
