PJ, I believe he is referring to the command line in which you type "-console" to get the damn console to work, but i am NOT 100% sure if that one. Cool, no spelling errors :)

That should be "I never down-loaded", not "because even down-loaded", but it's not like anyone cares or somethin'...

It just freezes when you try to play and you have 2 reboot.

Win2k is in no way meant for games, install XP upgrade or clean install, or just go back to 98, you'll never fix the problem trust me, I've tried every patch with it when I had it back int he day.

winXP is the r0x, but i still lock up in CS sometimes not a hard lock, but cs locks up and i have to kill task.

I have the router they're referring to. I used to get this problem with half-life and it annoyed the hell outta me. However some new firmware was release and now it doesn't happen anymore. So upgrade your firmware too people.

this +clientport setting will incidentally make punkbuster and friends not work, since they look for 27005

it still doesn't work. the problem only started happening a week ago. i'll get the CL_FlushEntityPacket right when i log onto the server, and then i wouldn't be able to play at all. someone help...fast...i miss CS.
