Survivor rocks. Torn rocks. Storm never caught my fancy, but it isn't too bad. cs_747 sucked hard. Rotterdam wasn't particularly good. Oilrig is good, especially with only a few players. It really gets your stealth skills into action as CT.

cs_747 is the worst map.



de_survivor is a great map, fun to play and prolly the best map in 1.3. Storm is good, and torn is good but overrated.

u kno how alot of ppl complain that there isnt enuf teamwork in pubs... y dont servers just put as_ maps in... they require a ton of teamwork or your team loses terribly

What are you talking about survivor is the worst map put into CS? If you had a clue about maps you'd know that map rocks and would play that any day over dust or dust2 which everyone seems to love because it's a DM map. Survivor takes thinking and skill to win. Everytime survivor comes up I become happy because not many servers play it because all the newer players leave. I hope this map doesn't get removed from CS because a few people think it sucks.

I think de_survivor is a nice looking map and often fun to play.

Also, one of 3Dmikes other maps; de-deadlock is THE most nice looking cs maps I have ever laid my eyes on (2nd comes cs_rio)

deadlock is also fun to play even if its a bit small.

I agree on de_vertigo to be one the worst maps in current cycle along with as_tundra and as_oilrig.

Anyone rembember de_foption? AARGH! THAT was an ugly & unplayable map!!!

As a Dutchman I have to defend survivor and rotterdam as the best maps ever (dutch maps rulez)!



But there should be more balanced maps and not only de_ maps added.

Well de_survivor is a good change from the usual "hot" desert maps like dust and cbble etc... I bet Arctic Joe feels the same way in he's snowsuit Rizzuh made a mistake by generalizing he's own opinion about de_survivor in public. Everyone has their own favorite maps - I'll bet someone even loves de_fang :P Not everyone wants to play dust 24/7.



The pics of de_747 look really great. Now the airplane is A BIT LARGER than in de_survivor. It even looks like you can jump off the plane I'm looking forward testing this map online. I bet the map description is quite interesting :) 3Dmike's maps have always been really polished and eye candy and he seems to continue he's good work! GG!

Survivor is a class map, with atmosphere, something which is sadly lacking in loads of other cs maps...or should we all just play dust all day and be done with it ?
