I'm now getting at least 20 emails a day from people asking "where do i get mapping tools, I wan't to learn mapping where do i go" and it's getting a little overwhelming. I'm going to write some content on getting started soon, but until then this will have to suffice.
1. Get Worldcraft 3.3 (level editor) here
2. Read this tutorial on setting it up
3. This tutorial covers building your first "room" in worldcraft
4. Now you're rolling, read the tutorials here and here.
5. Finally, you're going to need to compile so look here.
Note: To make maps for Counter-strike you will need the CS fgd which can be found here.
Ok, now please please please read up on stuff and goto the forums etc if you have a problem. Email me as a last resort because chances are the answer to your questions are out there and i don't have time to email you all back which sucks

NOTE: Some people have reported they cant download the fgd, i've tried it a few times at different intervals and it works fine for me. I'll upload it direct to the media section if it cause people more problems.
