Don't mess around with the current jumping. It's friggen fine, i don't want valve ruining the game with there new "features" it's bad enough that hackers ruin the game, but even worst for the WHOLE game to be CRAP.

btw who gives a shit about bunnyhoppinh? why not try to friggen fix the wallhacks and aimbots? Thoses are alot more annoying then seeing some crazy freak jumping around like someone on crack.

I think the server should decide how many hops a person can take in a row. Allowing the server to have the command "allow_jump #" that way if the server admin likes to jump, they can just turn that option off. And if an admin wishes for a person to jump only 4 times. They set it for 4.

And allowing the admin to set how long the person can't jump for after those 4 jumps should be a server side option. "nojump_time #".

Like I said, it'll give the ADMIN the power... which is how it should be.

How f'in funny would it be if they "fixed" it so there's a possibility of accidentially shooting yourself in the head if you go jumping around like a idiot... :)

I'd welcome changes that would reward strategy and teamwork rather than DM skills, no matter how drastic.

Go stamina meter! About time! Seeing people jump around like idiots ruins the game for non-children. Now if we could only have something like a RTCW sway meter on sniper rifles......and lethal HE grenades......

I think they should set Anti-cheating as priority one, as opposed to stuff like bunny hopping, which though annoying, doesnt really do much damage to the game. Besides, admins can always tone down the sv_airaccelerate settings to counter bunnyhopping.

              Balance the game?

              M4.

              DE.

              Nuff said.

To add though , I think its about time a stamina metre or some such was added. Actually, I think accuracy needs to be changed, not just lowered. For instance, I dont think firing a sig228 at 10 feet would have you miss quite as drastically as it does. It would have to come out at an angle. I say just try to make the guns more realistic, rather than just more inaccurate. Frankly, _I_ could personally fire some of these guns better than our avatars do.

i dont really give a shit about new features right now. I just want the anti-hack thing to work. Almost everyother server there is a stupid hacker using his ogc garbage. Now the actually good players are being accused so often of cheating. When can we actually play with a secure feeling of "no hacks"?

We've been accustomed to this "DM" style play with people jumping whenever they get a chance from the start (beta 1) and someone is gonna change that just now? wtf...

If I'd known someone was gonna add a stupid thing like this again, I would've stayed with Rogue Spear.

I agree with the accuracy gripes that have been posted recently, I think the CS team has gone to far toward to one extreme on the weapon accuracy issue when jumping. Face it: In real life if u jump around the corner you will be able to hit someone 10 feet away with ANY pistol. Long range I can see this being less likely, ditto with someone's ability to jump alot of times (then again in actual combat adrenaline has been known to do more amazing things). True cs players are defined by their ability to kill at long range, I dont think it makes that much difference if guns are accurate close range while jumping, just as long as there is some limit to the amount of jumps a player can execute.
