Um, does there really need to be a tutorial about this? It's all about server-side entities.

Here's a better way to do it: get WinBSP, decomp the map, and add your own damn spawn points. You won't have to worry about sticking them in the buy zones, because you can expand them at your will. Then recomp.

His site says it doesn't work, but it does. It's not perfect but it gets the job done. Also, why is the title of the page 'adults only counter-stirke'?

HTML doesn't use the brackets, mulder. Also, I didn't know it involved the use of other characters in the place of letters.

It's hyper-text mark-up language. All I have to say, soldier. And take your Ritalin. I bet you know what that is. Now let's get back to the topic: This is all about server-side entities.

The article applies not only to spawn points, but also to all entities, including lights and buttons. Therefore, if you wanted to be a real *cough* asshole *cough* you could follow these same procedures and take out the buy zones for a team...ohhh, the possibilities.

Decompiling the map wouldn't work right, because WinBSP seriously messes things up. Ripping the entities and then recompiling it is the best way, but takes more work.

decompiling and recompiling will NOT work on ANY map. if you think it does, you have never tried to do it. it's not technically possible. the best you can do to recompile is to map a .map file, which does not include all the entities and information required to compile. but go ahead and try it if you want.
