The author of the wildly popular single-player Poke646 mod is working for Gearbox on the upcoming CS: Condition Zero. Here's a bit from the FAQ:

Q: What do you do next, now that Poke646 is released?



A: I can't speak for the whole team, but I see my personal future in the game business. I'm currently working with Gearbox on CS:CZ and will hopefully continue working with them on future projects. Another plan is the MP part for Poke646, but more on that in the next answer.

poke646 is a HL total conversion single player game. New plots, new enemies and new weapons. Its very very well made and i suggest you take a look, the art work is simply incredible.
