XLR has slapped up the ninj@ Half-Life Pager. You only need the client program to 'page' anyone in the world by sending a message to their console. Type in their nickname, their IP, and a message. I can't possibly see how this could be abused.

cs central is unreliable right now and i didn't want to use his personal isp's bandwidth.

would be even better if you could have it send to WON id's.. that way if they are on connection that ip always changes, you can still send it easily

it won't work through NAT (since it always assumes a 27005 port number), and it only needs the IP Address, since it uses the HL log display mechanism to show up text in the console area....and it's sending some weird shit after the message too which i'm concerned aobut.
