Well, if you want a pure gaming console, get GameCube...it is solely based upon games and game fanatics. Also, the games that Nintendo has been known for (zelda, mario, etc.) still own... but that doesn't matter. PS2 has been out there for a while now, and it is still better than xbox and gamecube with the games it has come out with. All hail FFX!! Btw, my comp still gets more fps than xbox so screw it I'll get halo on PC =)

ok, yes the gamecube comes in black. the only half way decent game on xbox is halo, and its not nearly as good as it looked back when bungie lived alone.



second off, the games are not aimed at kids, every nintendo system has had a mario game for a launch title. and have you ever played lugies mansion, its funner than a bag of dry ice.



third off, tomarrow i will be looked upon by the law as an adult, so technically i am, but im not a teenager. i dont even really like either, i just like giving the xboxers shit cuz they suck(my bro got a gamecube for christmas and my friend an xbox)

and the resident evil series is moving solo to the gamecube, and it looks about 50 times better than it could on an xbox, wow the xbox has a faster GPU....so then why doesnt it look as good as the gamecube does?????

Everything you said is complete bullshit, the xbox excels so much more than the gamecube, it gets more fps, and it loads faster, don't tell me otherwise, I've played both extensively.



I enjoy games like mx 2002, project gotham and DOA3 all more than Halo.



Gamecube is just a huge dumbass POS, they make you buy everything along with it, for example the xbox is expensive cuz it has a harddrive in it, which saves us 35 dollars every other game with memory cards.



The xbox can already play dvds + mp3's.



The xbox has better hardware...it all ads up...

actually, its only got 2 better hardware things if you dont count the HD, the processor and the GPU. and btw game cube mammary cards are only 15 bucks. besides dvd isnt the reason you buy a console. i played DOA3 for a bit and it was so fucking horrible, all it is is a treat to the eyes. (no not the girls, the good graphics, which it does have)



hell you dont even have to press the right directions to do the combos, cuz the xbox controller is so gay, and no, i am not an idiot, the xbox only gets 30 fps, where the GC gets 60, its been done on benchmarks.



and the only game on the GC ive seen with loading times is THPS3.



and the gamecube coems with everything an xbox does except the memory, and the modem(i forget if xbox comes with that or not) and the memory cards for gamecube hold enough that you would only need 1 anyways.

If the xbox has such a great graphics card install, then why the hell does my geforce 3 still own it? I dont' understand why the xbox is getting so much praise, it's being made by newbies in the console world. When it comes down to it, Nintendo will know what their customers want...less pricey and pure gaming...I don't need a dvd player, I have one already, why teh hell would i need another? Even with a hardrive, the memory cards are sufficient, I mean, don't tell me you save every last game you've ever played...and like I said before, the core characters of Nintendo still attracts gamers...I can't wait for the new Zelda...anyways PS2 as of right now still owns GC and Xbox
