RealBot: AI

The highly anticipated RealBot: AI was released yesterday! Actually, it's a pre-release version, but here's the skinny on it anyway:

So, what was the big present we worked on? RealBot : AI! What a suprise. This is just a preview release, so do not expect too much. The website is updated with an online version of the readme of RealBot : AI. Look at the left of your screen, in the navigation bar, where you can find the link to it.



We worked hard, and had quite long nights this weekend. We wish you a very happy Christmas and a happy new year! Enjoy this version and let us know what you think about it! A special forum about RealBot : AI will be opened soon by GoD.



The windows version is released, however Tub's linux box seems to be offline at the moment, so he cannot compile the linux version. We'll release the linux version as soon as Tub can connect again.

to bad realbot went for a more podbot play style not realistic in their new version. just like podbot now, the bots can hear u coming from accorss the map and headshot you first shot all the time, at least they don't buy scots anymore :) still realbot is better than podbot cause i know stefen will have the final version so real that you don't know their bots

I always considered myself a good CS player, but PODBot just plain ownz me. Damn hacking bots.

There is a Flaw in PODBot, when he released it he released the bot quick, because he was going to help CZ build their bots, if PODBot wasnt good, would he have a job on working on the AI for CZ right now I think not :) But the thing I figured out was, that PODBots skill settings are all fucked up, first of all none of the skillz being changed will work, except the 100 skillz setting which is actually for 0-19 skillz :) that is why so many peeps hates PODBot but dont take my word for it try it, seriously that is all thats wrong with PODBot, IM me if you want to know more or if you just want to be friends icq# 81042909
