Thank you LuftWaffle for putting all these ignorant kids in their place. It's good to see that someone isn't just jumping on the Valve Bashing Bandwagon. Valve is a great company and the fact that they're still supporting a game that is this old is a testament to their loyalty to us, the gamers.

I don't think anyone has realized what Valve has accomplished. Half-Life is like, what, 3 years old? I remember getting it Christmas day and installing that beast immediately. I was hooked.
The same must have happened with all of you. Otherwise, you wouldn't be wasting your time posting comments on a site about a MOD of the original game. Can anyone remember a mod for any other game, or any game for that matter, that has impacted so many people across the world for such an extended amount of time? Didn't think so. There's something else you people seem to forget about Valve: it is a business. Businesses aim to make money. They aim to make as much money as they can. They will not waste their valuable resource of time to please a few customers, when they could be spending their resources on developing new products (Half-Life 2) through which they will increase their profits.
In conclusion, Valve is comparable to Jesus.Comment

I think cheating on PunkBuster Servers are higher than regular servers. I donb't know why this is, but PunkBuster really should handle this problem. From skin changing to invisibility, PunkBuster should try harder to get those cheaters off of their servers. I don't see how this would help, they have to have, like, a watcher in punkbuster servers to kick any cheaters. I also don't see how a wallpaper would help reduce cheating. That's a weird idea. New maps are good, and non-cheating maps are better. I have one question: Why is it that PunkBuster servers have a higher average of cheaters than others?Comment

You all being so negative about this. It's a well known fact that PB isn't as good now but still, it was the first really good attempt at stopping cheaters.
