The CPL Europe has formally dropped the CO rules and has adopted CPL America's maxround rules. Euros always go on and on about how CO is better, so it should shake some clans over there. They'll also be adopted a VGUI, just like the US' CPL.



The teams will now be attackers and defenders. At the CPL World Championship, the teams were called by the clan names.

Those euros who seem to lack a say in this when the CPL decided that MR was the best for publicity.

Realistically I think CO is better for public viewing since its a faster game, SoA proved why MR sucks for public viewing.

The funny thing is that considering most top europeon clans have major sponsors, compared to the top american teams not having such big sponsors you would think that the CPL would try to please the people with the bigger sponsors.

MR = a camping game which makes the game less fast and exciting. If the CPL plans to broaden itself into a professional sport and into a TV watchable game you would think they would choose the more interesting and fast game as the main game.

I hate MR rules, CO rules we're much more fun, more interesting to watch, and I would also go so far as to say more skilled. But their word goes ah well :|

CO is where Terrorist rounds only count on de_ maps, and CT rounds count only on cs_ maps.



It's better to watch than MR, shame some don't realise it....
