One problem with the event is that the three-minute Half-Life TV delay between the tournament area and the spectator screens became a real problem. I complained about the delay on the first day of the event, and on the last day, in the final match, the reasons for my complaint became clear. There were a couple hundred people watching the final tense rounds live in Dallas, but instead of watching the dramatic last round unfold they already knew who won.
