Some crazy german site has posted images of someone cheating while being authed by Paladin, the new anti-cheat system currently in BETA. There's a reason it's in BETA, so it's not really breaking news. Hopefully Paladin will get better as time goes on.



In other news, this is further proof that Chazz/GiXeLz really likes to cheat.

You know, there is no point in having external detectors when Valve will add one to the HL engine which has far more potential.

i doupt valves will be much better if any. The HL engine needs some SERIOUS re working in order to make some strong anti cheats. Hopefully valve is getting it right this time with the in the works CS2/HL2. But the anti cheat stuff that they are releasing for CS:CZ/CS 1.4 probably wont be the answer everyone is looking for.

Those screenshots remind me of graphics on an Atari 2600. So what if they cheat they are also wasting the thousands they spend on there cpu. It just looks so damn boring to stare at outlines.

Cheaters are boring. Whenever a cheater logs onto a server i die, then am bored, then usually log off and go somewhere else, if I can't get the cheater kicked for ruining the round.

Cheaters should be more fun...like a jokester, or provide something original or insightful, "Use that head!". Instead it's like:

"BOOM" "You're Dead!" "<insert male 1337 taunt-speak>".

I prefer being AWP'd to being cheated.

not to mention when your game becomes like that in order for you to cheat, it sorta ruins the fun.

oh burn! and 59/14 doesn't seem like he'd be cheating... if it was like 12vs12. but since it was 6vs7, that's on the border. or maybe everyone left cause he haxz0rd.
