It's more than copy and paste. The comments table stores a newsid, not a type or anything. It would include major changes to the comments system. Also, I would not want to copy and paste my code. That means I have to re-do it all three times when I fix a bug. I would have to take this .php file and make it into functions, blah blah blah.

SOTD and POTD comments are basically the same deal. I could program both in one shot, of course.

The guy who was doing Arctic Joe vanished. I'll be honest: I am tired of someone doing AJ and leaving for months. AJ is most likely gone forever.

From what I read in the comments, most people disliked the two more recent Arctic Joe's.

we used to be able to comment on SOTDs and POTDs,but all anyone ever did was flame eachother,and pages long wars happened,and no one ever talked about the SOTD or POTD,they just flamed eachother.so then rizzuh closed it,to warn us,then a while later reopened it,but the same shit happened,so he closed it for good.

dude cs-nation is starting to disapoint me. I would always come here for the great food- I mean the Artic Joe, and stuff like that. The POTD and SOTD's are starting to blow. Go find some original ones. C'mon I know you can do much better. Start posting news that really makes me want to read it. Thats just my opinion man. Commenting on the S/POTD would just cause udder mayhem.

We have a new SOTD guy. He seems pretty good and already runs a popular skin site himself. You can submit your POTDs here.

News is news, we can't make it more or less interesting. Nothing really good is happening now. This is why I think our features and content are more important than our news.

As for AJ: I can't blame him. He spent a lot of time writing two articles that, apparently, a lot of people liked, but all he read in the comments was that they "sucked." Hopefully you'll find some enjoyment in our vast array of other features.
