    CZ Preview

GameSpy has posted their 20,000th exclusive for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. Included in the preview are 2 pages of new info and about 10 new screenshots. Here's a quote:
There will be six episodes in Condition Zero, with four missions per episodes. There will also be a training mission, which brings the total to 25. After the player creates a new profile, they pick a CT team from five possible. Sorry folks, you can't play as Terrorist in the single-player game. The five teams are Arctic, GIGN, GSG, SAS and SPETS. From there, players will come to a screen with various options: Personnel, Arsenal, Load Out, and Missions. Clicking Personnel will allow players to add units to their squad (here you can adjust each of your units' attributes, but more on that later.) Up to four CTs can be on one team (you plus three). Arsenal is pretty self-explanatory (here you buy your weapons and armor). From there players go to Load Out where you outfit yourself and your team. Then after you're done, you go to Missions.

Each mission in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero entails a different map or situation. And each map has three distinct parts -- Narrative, Endurance, and Challenge. These three parts will vary per map.
Check it out, now. It's a great preview and has loads of info. Remember, we're still accepting questions for our upcoming Gearbox Interview.

    CZ Preview

Ferrago.co.uk has posted a preview of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. It's unknown if Colonize.com and the Secret Agent are in cahoots, but I don't know where Classmates fit in:
Condition Zero’s changes are many and varied, so I’ll begin with the engine. It uses an updated version of the Half Life engine (which is in itself an updated Quake 2 engine). It feature’s all the usual additions, including more detailed models, weather effects such as snow and rain, new weapon animations, etc. The word is that while the game does not feature current generation top-tier graphics, they will be eminently pleasing to the eye, and more importantly, functional and conducive to the atmosphere. The focus of the developers has rightly been in refining and improving the famed CS gameplay.
Be sure to out it check. While you're at it, check out our Condition Zero Info section for screenshots and a fact-filled preview.

"When you have two CTs, each with a riot shield and another CT with an AWP in the middle" says Pitchford, "you can do some serious damage."

omg...you would think awp is strong enough? Well, atleast it requires team-work.

just get a cheap AMD T-bird at 1Ghz and a nice geforce 2 GTS. It will run you about 300 - 500 depending on all what you need, mobo, cpu, case, etc...

Then you can play all the latest games with ease!

So, you can't play as a terrorist in single player? Pity.

They're probably too lazy to make seperate missions for CT's and T's...so they made it so you could only be CT's :)
