I tried to watch the matches, but it was pretty hard with the disorganization and such. There has got to be a better way to do this.

I'm sure they'll work out all the bugs in the system by next year. But maybe by then we won't need HLTV and we can just watch it on regular TV? Kickin back on a Sunday morning watching the match, that'd be cool.

The one match i watched was fun but i could never get into a server after that. I kept getting the client -76 error no matter what i did.

I didn't watch the matches on live HLTV, but I did download the demos and watch them, HLTV is awesome. I watched X3|Miller(KSharp) most of the time because he r L337!!! I picked up a couple things from just watching him from #4 spec mode(whatever it's called, first person viewing)and i have been doing quite well in CS just today after trying his techniques. All I can say is that all of those Europeans that think US clans are sh!t are wrong and X3 proves it, they BARELY lost to NiP.

i also d/led the matches cos i didnt know when it was on live, i live in uk see. the matches were awsome and the teamwork is great, i learned quite a bit from just watching them. amazing skills.

I watched all the final X3| vs NiP matches and it was AWESOME! Really fun switching between the matches and the #CPL channel and talking about it. It's really fun when you're watching it and you're rooting for a favorite team. I almost got the same feeling as watching a superbowl game or something, it's so much better watching it live! Especially when there's $50,000 on the line for the winner! And I agree with what the writer at domainofgames.com said about it, all it needed was a couple of announcers who knew what they were talking about to comment on it and it would be perfect! Find the popcorn, kick back and enjoy the game!

simply put, the last match was... awesome. Aside from the 3 min delay, and the coupla times the HLTV proxy crashed, and the lagginess, it was f00kin awesome!! the rest of the matches that weren't posted here were kind of hard to see, cuz it was mostly, as rizzuh said, an irc guessing game.... a little more organisation next time would be great.
