Randy Pitchford is the head honcho on CS: Condition Zero, the upcoming CS-oriented single player package. Don't worry, many of the CS improvements will be available for free download near the release of the retail package, which includes a pumped-up Multiplayer and a full Single Player campaign. CS-Nation will be launching its CS: Condition Zero section soon if you're out of the loop, but for now, a live interview will suffice.

mrfodder: CS:CZ is going to be a retail full single player game BUT it is also going to have multiplayer capabilities. In addition, CS (the free download mod) will have an update that you can download for free which will include all of the new features of CZ. You will be able to play against people who have CZ. Basicly if you choose to buy CZ, what you are paying for is:



1. The single player missions

2. The ability to play CS without having to purchase Halflife.



does it make sense now? Basicly if you are already playing CS, you wont have to pay in order to continue to play CS and it will be upgraded to include the new features that CZ will have. The only reason someone would PURCHASE CZ is for the two reasons i listed above.
