3d_Mike, of de_survivor fame, has updated beta three of his new map, de_deadlock. Currently the page shows the German representation of your average Mexican, so perhaps the page will actually work later today.



All I know is that this map has a red light district and is a big improvement from beta 1.

This may be 3D_Mike's best map as of yet. The link is working now, also. Anyway, this map is not for peopel on 56k, due to the fact that it is so texture heavy. Too bad. It has three bombsites, a red light district, an arcade complete with pool tables and a Mortal Combat machine, and a helicopter that spotlights terrorists who walk in its path with a light and the shout "This is the police! Drop your weapons now!"

Would get a 10 if it had the default arms. Otherwise, its a great model.

hehe... its weird, i seem to pwn more with this M4 than the default, i already got this skin though in the fusion pack 12, which i must say has a few very crappy models

Aye Fusion pack 12 is not all it's hyped to be (Being the proud user of it that I am).



HOWEVER. I like this skin. Some of the minus points I never really seem to pick up when being chased round a map due to life theatening experiences. =)



You can't "really" go too far wrong with this model.

Great model, wonderful detail, good skin. The only thing I don't like is the strap. I've never been a fan of straps, they just add extra nonsense. If I could get a version without a strap I think I would wet my pants. But hey, great replacement for 1.6. I can't wait to start playing again once my damn college installs the high speed connection in our dorm. Aaaaargh! I'm goin through CS withdrawals...

The default M4 is the worst skin/model in CS, it has been quite upsetting being forced to use it this past while. But today my prayers were answered. the ultimate M4 in my opinion is without a doubt the best one available. The fact that it has different arms than the standardised 1.6 ones doesn't bother me in the slightest. If you don't admit that this is the best M4 available your just plain blasphemous.
