Tonight was the finals of CAL Invite, matching X3 vs DoP on de_nuke. In all honesty, the spectator proxy is great. For the first half DoP and X3 were tied, 6 - 6, with X3 pulling through second half 7 - 2 after two of DoP's members lagged out, to award them the autowin. CAL rules, for the uninformed, are to play 12 rounds on each side, and the best of 24 rounds win. By this token, upon reaching 7 the second side, X3 had won a majority of the rounds, 13. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the match, and nearly all the proxies were full - indeed, it was a close match, but in the end X3 pulled through to become CAL-Invite Season 2 Champions.
