As we go from disbelief and shock to outrage and fear, September 11, 2001 is quickly becoming a day that we will never forget in American history. It's our JFK, and that's not a good thing at all. Many Americans are still missing and everyone around the world is hoping for the best, but we still lost a lot, in terms of human life and our feeling of security. It is so surreal to see symbols of American wealth and accomplishment get plowed by two airplanes in massive fireballs. Words can't describe it and I'm sure everyone else around the world felt the same thing when they first saw the footage. To describe the horror, thousands of people work in both the World Trade Center and Pentagon. So far only nine people have been rescued.
I'd like to thank everyone who sent me an e-mail. Like everything else I got a few flames, but for the most part it was just people around the world trying to pat me on the back.
