The CS Pro Tour has officially begun. Here's the lowdown:
The Counter-Strike Professional Tour is now officially open at www.csprotour.com. Unlike most Counter-Strike Tournaments, where you are required to bring your own computer, the Counter-Strike Professional tours cyber cafes throughout California hosting 5v5 Counter-Strike team tournaments. Signups for the first event on August 18th in Costa Mesa, CA are now open. The Counter-Strike Professional Tour will be holding one tournament a month for the next 6 months at various cyber cafes in Southern California. Each will be giving away $1000 to first place, and an invitation to first, second, and third place to participate in the tour's "Tournament of Champions" event in Feburary.
