Well it seems our ever-lovable host, GameSpy, has went out and bought themselves 3d Portal, which houses HalfLife.net. According to the release, HalfLife.net is basically gone. Its content will merge to Planet Half-Life to form the "superist Half-Life fansitable evers!". It's unclear whether CS @ Halflife.net will replace the imfamous CS @ PHL, or simply lead to a battle of the @ signs.
In all seriousness, another great HL and CS fansite has bit the dust. Lets hope the personalities and content stay with PHL and this isn't a merger of names.
