Will Punkbuster be used by the CAL and CPL or will a custom modification be utilized in order to keep the source code more secure?
FN: Punkbuster will be used by CAL, the CPL probably won’t have a need for it as I’m very strict as to what I limit in terms of configs. I’ll put a listing of allowed config rules that you can bring to the Speakeasy event. It will be very limited and there will be no way people can really cheat at the CPL. Punkbuster is getting more advanced and we expect it to be pretty much cheat-proof by now.
