Halflife.net have announced that as of April 1st they will be no more. Basically its because of lack of funds. The future is looking bleak for these semi-offical game related sites and only the strongest are surviving.

The reasons should be pretty obvious. For the past month, the majority of our banner ads at the top of our pages, have been blank. These blank banners, represent a huge drop in advertising revenues. Revenues that we use to pay for servers, bandiwth, staff, other bills, etc.
