The CPL (Cyberathlete Professional League) has announced the cash prize distribution for Babbage's CPL $15,000 Counter-Strike team tournament, sponsored by Razer. Five thousand dollars will be awarded to the last standing team, $3,000 to second place, $2,000 to third, $1,000 to fourth, $700 for 5-6th, $500 for 7-8th, $400 for 9-12th, and the remaining people will have to settle with free stickers.

CPL Tournament

The Cyberathlete Professional League (god that sounds lame, but they have like 80 kazillion dollars) will be holding another CS tournament on December 6th through the 9th, 2001. The combined prize money is a whopping $150,000 and the tournament will expect to have 2,000 players.



Maybe I'll go and win, then win money, then buy my new computer with that money. What a intricate and strategic plan.
