Galen, click here and don't complain!Stomped: How do you two decide on which maps will be included in Counter-Strike? What features do those maps have to have in order to be selected?
Gooseman: General aesthetics of the map.. How the map plays with 20 players. It's always hard to pick maps that everyone will enjoy but I think we've done a pretty good job of picking some keepers out there. Some of my fave maps were cs_ship, cs_facility but these weren't wildly popular like the CS heavyweights (cs_siege, de_dust, etc..).
cliffe: I'm very proud of the maps in Counter-Strike. I think each is unique, very well done and fun to play. It was really cool a while back when George Broussard of 3D Realms praised the CS maps -- he's a tough one to please it seems. Atleast that's what Andy of PlanetCrap and Apache tell me.
