Stefan at RealBot has updated the site with upcoming features of the bot.

Just to want let you all know, after the first official release. (not FTR 1), i will concentrate on a learning engine. Learning means it willl learn the map, it will 'map' while learning, refining while playing it etc. The next official release will take a lot of time. But i'm pretty sure that it will be worth it. I've taking this decision after mailing with some programmers and friends. However, do not expect realbot 'learning' within a month.

Realbot news

Over the past few days Stefan has been relaying new information about the WIP collection on his Realbot site. Varying from the release of version 8.3 to a test server for 8.2.2 which anyone can pop along to:

Its a server by Ruggie (the one who also creates a very nice installer for RB Version 1.0). The server is up at the moment, but i cannot assure you it will be the entire day. Join asap if you want to see WIP 8.2.2 in action.



Note: Bots addapt their games to their loses/wins! So if you find terrorists camping, then there is a reason!

Realbot news

A bit of news that managed to slip by our crack newshounds is the release of a demo showing off Realbot's new AI. After watching it, I'm convinced the next version of realbot will be the best bot I've ever seen. Except for a few times when a bot ran into a wall or stopped, these bots are the most lifelike I've seen. And yes, I have seen POD bot.

its actually Sixshooter's glove skin. I don't even know how robert O is so I wouldn't use his skin. I used Sixshooters skin because it was already mapped to the model properly its better than the 1.6 glove anyway so... bleh. I give the actual skin 10 though because its perfect.



/edit what I meant was I wouldn't use your skin because I dont know what it looks like/where to get it, not because you made it. i didnt mean to offend you in anyway by what I said, I said I didn't use you skin because I didn't know who you were and didn't know you made an arm skin

I'm inclined to agree with Andeh, it's practically perfect as far as lack of errors goes.



But there can always be better modelling and better skinning techniques. The highest standards continue to grow higher as the most elite become even more skilled. Therefore I believe there is no such thing as perfect.

Who said that this one is perfect?I just don't like its origin which is the centered deagle.This model doesn't match other pistal no matter how good it is.The centered model sucks!That's all.
