w00t!@$Three groups have come together in cooperation to put on Lock-n-Load, one of
the largest, and most exciting Half-Life / Counter-Strike Tournaments to
date. Along with an organization called the Journey who has provided a
dynamic facility, the gaming gurus of the Gib-O-Rama, Houston's largest
monthly Lan Party, and http://www.Guerro.com, host of the popular El Nino
Counter-Strike servers, have come together for this mammoth undertaking.
The Tourney is schedule for January 12-13 in Alvin, Texas (Just outside
Houston) at the incredible facility called the Journey. This 17,000 sq foot
gamer's heaven comes complete with a coffee bar, restaurant, game room,
15,000 watts of audio power, and a 14-foot video screen.
Lock-n-Load will feature two team events, a registered clan tourney and a
pick up tourney. Gravis, Kensington, Razor have already come aboard to
sponsor the event, with more to come.
