For all those of you in the UK, the 9th installment of the very popular Bad LAN rising tourney is happening in Middlesbrough, North East England on November 25 and 26. Heres some more info:
The event is a 36+ hour non-stop event for 60 people with sleeping
facilities, either at your keyboard or in the hotel's rooms. BLR IX
will commence at 08:30 on Saturday November 25 and end 21:00 November 26.
The event is £20 for both days, £12 for either day.
Signup started 4 days ago, and half the places are gone already.
Hosted on a 10/100mb switched network, all the internet favourites are
played. CounterStrike, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament and Team
Fortress are always extremely popular at our events. There will be many competitions, including Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament, Quake 2 and CounterStrike with some great prizes.
