[sWs]Data has released the alpha 1.0 version of his bot, but unfortunately the only map supported is de_dust. I just spent an hour playing against some of these bots on a 20-player server, and I must admit it was pretty damned fun.
The bots follow a waypoint system and travel around the map in random patterns (no bomb planting or defusing yet), shooting at whatever enemies they see. Here's a shot (100k) of me playing against them, and of course I got my ass handed to me a few times by that lousy CT AWP sniper. Overall, the AI is okay for an alpha release. It's nothing spectacular, but it'll provide for some fun in a LAN party when you don't have enough people or if you get bored from that "one-handed web browsing" (read VoodooExtreme).
I highly suggest downloading them and giving Data some feedback. These bots could be quite promising in the future. Give 'em a try.
