    Server Updates

The Linux and Windows Dedicated Server updates (not for the people who play the game, for the people who run the games) are being slowly released. Grab them on our temporary mirrors page.

Please do not link to cs15.php. It will not exist tomorrow morning; by that time it will be the main page. Simply link to http://csnation.counter-strike.net/.

Update: I just scoped out the HLDS mailing list digest. Here's what Eric Smith wrote about secure mode and what-not:
Your servers won't be able to run in "secure" mode until 11:00am PST tomorrow when we update the Secure Master servers.

Also, the authentication images for the new versions aren't up yet.
I have no idea what that means, but I'm sure it's very cool.

I was reading the change log for cs and hl and it does not mention anything about fixing the fps issues with ati cards as well as other cards. Does anyone have any information on this matter?

Changed 'exec' command no longer allows ".." or "\\" or ":" in the filename.

That means HLGuards file checking outside the cstrike directory is over. It's probably a good thing as it was really an exploit.

ummm.. so vac still sucks? ok just checking.. since they are adding "

the authentication images" i thought OGC team has been able to own any auth thats got in there way, like the only way they got around C-D was thru breaking the auth..

I believe he's talking about wonid authentication.

I like how VAC sucks so much that it's stopped OGC four times.

Yeah, Dimethylpyrimidinol Bisulfite sounds cool too, but it is a source of vitamin K found in many pet food products. I mean come on, what kind of pet needs vitamin K nowadays, really?
