      New Bits

I'm not so sure about you, but I enjoy all of my bits fresh. So with that said, here they all are for your grubby little hands to grasp.
HLTV, the very well known spectating tool, has announced some new features. A simple, yet effective new addition to the service now allows automatic demo recording. This allows users to get his/her matches recorded when you use the free of charge HLTV.org booking service. Furthermore, they have announced PCW which disallows anybody from seeing you play. Read on for the details in its entirety.

Counter-Server Maps has introduced cs_pacific to all. The stunningly beautiful map takes place at a resort in Hawaii. Why would Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists alike duel it out in a resort? I have no opinion, but the map has a golf resort. Enough said. Head here for some download links.

Server Watch, a powerful tool for monitoring, administering, and displaying data about remote and local servers, happened to release new plugins that add support to the latest version. Interested? Click here for the full information.
Farewell, for now, my grubby handed friends!

I want a CS HLTV screensaver -- if there is user inactivity it logs into a server and spectates automatically. Can you do that? That'd be sweet...

I just got out of a game playing cs_pacific with my buddy on LAN, and we both love it. Great map! Even if the grass looks a little odd in places.

          Thanks for the bits, Dchnozzle.

            Thanks for the bits, Dchnozzle.
Details! How playable is for PUB? How are the hostages situated? Number of choke points and how are they best defended/stormed?

I'm always looking for quality maps that lack de_ in their name.

CS Nation should open up a map of the week section, Finding quality map archives is just as hard at finding quality skin archives. I'd be happy to do some reviewing although I can't promise that I'd be any good at it.

That map looks nice, with good textures, by i didn't notice any great amount of cover, other than bushes or walls. Espicially on the gulf course part. We need plainly detailed boxes for us to cover behind, not palm trees!

i think that cs-nation has or had some sort of stance on maps that probably is irrelevant to current circumstances which now probably revolve around bandwidth and space.

                  http://cscentral.com/ does maps.

If we haven't touched the custom map scene in 4 years running I don't think we are going to start anytime soon, sorry.

I think that cs_pacific is really good but it doesn't look that good.
