Counter-Strike.org has been down since 6 AM EDT on Monday May, 29th due toan undisclosed policy at our hosting company. The site has been "lockeddown" because they implemented a bandwidth limitation on the site. The sitewas supposed to be an "unlimited hits/traffic" site but apparently was notsetup that way. The host's policy is to "lock down" (change allpermissions) on the site until more $$$ is paid. Well we don't play thatgame. A site being shutdown without a prior or immediate notificationdoes not fly. So, Counter-Strike.org should be up tomorrow on a tempserver (minimal content) until Friday when the new host service will befinalized and contract signed. We do apologize to our visitors for thisinconvenience but it is entirely out of our control. I hope this explainsthe "access forbidden" page when you visit the site. Until our attorneyapproves us to release the name of the hosting company and detail behindthis incident we cannot say more about this.Hmm, very bad news, maybe some game network like UGO can host them.. I hope so!Note: Please be very careful of any hosts you sign up with. We were notand regret it terribly.
