I looked at download.com today, and much to my surprise a man that has touched all our lives died a week ago, on April 14th. Phillip Katz died at the young age of 37. You probably don't know who he is, but he invented the ZIP file format when he created PKZIP. Its not CS related, but I think he touched all our lives in some way or another, after all, who on the net doesn't have winzip?
