    LAN Party

    ASSAULT OMG OMG!!!!!!
=== Armory Assault: FINAL EPISODE ===

    ============ LAN PARTY =============

    April 28th-30th

    (5pm Friday to 5pm Sunday)

    Army National Guard Armory

    ========= Jacksonville, FL ==========

    FEATURED GAMES: CounterStrike, RogueSpear, Unreal

    Tournament, Quake3, etc etc.

Definitely will be a lot of UT, CS, and Q3 players

at this event with dedicated servers for all games.

Check out these movies of our previous events:

Counter-Strike is a HUGE game these days with something

like 74MILLION man hours being played each month!

We plan to have some killer CS related stuff going on!

WHY: For those that have attended the parties at this

location in the past, you already know it's a really

cool location and the party works out well there, however

the base will be closing soon and the summer heat will

start to preclude our use of the facilities in the next

few months, so this will probably be our LAST party at

the Armory until after the summer, and we are not sure

about the status of the base after that time...

(the base is moving by end of year)

Bottom line: If you have missed the event in the past,

you would be well advised not to miss this one. It could

very well be the last one we have at the "Armory".

COST: Entry fee is $20 (per PC, however everyone that

was at our February party gets in for $10)

Cost of admission covers the duration of the event.

If you were at the last game, we will have the same setup

on food & pop-corn, however drinks will be FREE and provided

in a couple large ice-filled coolers. The cost for food is

    $5 to cover expenses.

If you want to rent a cot, it's $5 and they are limited

    availability....so first rent, first served.

Spectators are welcome and don't have to pay, but

will not get a lunch/dinner ticket.

We have space for 300 players ( > 7800 sq. ft.).

RFAB tents seats are $5 extra, and by PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!

They are LIMITED and they will be FIRST REGISTERED = FIRST

RESERVED, no exceptions. If you want your clan under the

RFAB's, you better get them all registered QUICKLY.

    FEATURES:

There are a lot of benefits to this LAN party:

    1) Installed $3000 dollar 600AMP power system to

supply power to all the players. Works very well!

    2) Location has many features such as showers, cots,

meeting rooms, kitchen, huge BBQ smoker, vending

    machines, PA system etc..

    3) RFAB Tents. Sweet!

    4) Camo netting covering a larger portion of the gaming area.

    5) Hummer Vehicles located inside gaming area.

    6) We will have some APACHE AH64 helicopters on

display, so you can get a good look at those.

    7) We also have some laser/fog lighting effects.

    8) Large screen projection system with sound system.

    9) The network uses no hubs. We have 16 HP ProCurve&

AdvanceStack 10/100 switches with enough ports to

deliver switched ethernet to every player.

    10) Fast Dual PentiumIII-600 servers with Raid-5 file

shares on 10k Cheetah drives. (Our last party was

pumping out 35MegaBYTES/SEC on the ftp server!)

    11) There will be alcohol allowed at this location, so

drinking on the premises is fine! Bring a keg if you

want, but you can't smoke inside.

    12) Base security 24x7 and a secure area to park cars.

Hope to see you guys at the party!

(please help to spread the word and increase our

    attendance for the event.)
Forgive the spacing, e-mail progs suck.
