Chris Jensen, a great CheckOut.com column writer and CS fan, has slapped up Counter-Strike: Operation Cheater. Here's a small tidbit:
Check it out(.com, ahahha get it?).Players have been cheating in Counter-Strike since the very first Beta, usually finding exploits to manipulate and bugs to abuse. Back in the Beta 3 days, players could often be found pushing fallen guns around a level and leaving them in front of their base for the next round. Everyone knew it was an exploit of the way the game was meant to be played, but many people did it anyway. When Beta 4 rolled around, people started hopping onto the heads of the hostages, gaining an elevation advantage that allowed them to see the entire level and all activity on it; clearly an exploit. With each new version, these exploits have disappeared, but resourceful cheaters are always finding new ways to be a-holes. -

It's not bad, but it's not remarkable.
Some people who have played online games for a long time can tell you that it is very widespread. Cheating has hit hard on the top online games such as Diablo (I/II), Warcraft, Half-Life, Counterstrike, Quake (I/II/III), and many others just to name a few. Cheaters use various tactics which exploit bugs in the game to use to their advantage. As you can see, no multiplayer game is 100% cheat proof. Cheats and hacks can be easily be found on the internet. I found the latest cheats for Counterstrike within 5 – 10 mins of me finding out about the cheat. Companies like Valve Software employ various techniques to combat cheating.Comment

i have no actual skills whatsoever, but i'll own you anyday!
ogc rules, and is COMPLETELY undetectable- its great going onto a server that has so called "cheat scans" (which do not detect my ogc) and when i get accused of cheating, i go "this server has anti-cheats! i cant cheat, even if i wanted to!"
by the way, no matter what anti cheat measures you can take, within a week some pimple-faced h4x0r with nothing better to do will release a brand- new CS hack.

Actually you can detect OGC. I accidentally left the OGC .dll file in my half-life folder and it got detected while i was playing on the net. Then I got banned. I was using OGC 6.13 too. Maybe subsequent releases can't be detected though i'm not sure.
As usual, when a new cheat comes out it can never be detected until the anti-cheat prevention program is updated.
Maybe they should make an anti-anti-cheat so that cheaters can combat the anti-cheat. Then the companies will have to develop an anti-anti-anti-cheat to combat that new program.
Anyways I wrote that article at 2am on night so its not that remarkable. I agree with rizzuh on that!Comment

I cheated then i got banned from all the pacific servers then i stopped i only strated again because the stupid servers don't delete the cheats they should, ogc is detcectable throuigh paladin and csguard cheating is fucking gay so take my advice don't even start leave cs to the players. If u wanna cheat make ur own server; Cheating server or something like that don't ruin the game for the players of cs, they have skill which is the best feeling you can get. So fuck off all u cheats go play on cheating servers or make ur own cheating game. PS. Die all u myg0t fuckersComment
