    Steam 2 on FilePlanet

Steam 2.0 is now mirrored on FilePlanet, for paying subscribers only. You can also find Steam on FileShack, if you're subscribed to its Mercury service. Steam 2.0 is the only way to download Counter-Strike 1.6 BETA, which has seen a lot of activity lately.

Rizzuh, I just found out that you didn't need to have Half-Life or Counter-Strike retail in order to play Steam games. As posted on fileplanet, it's free.

Well, I'm already a Fileplanet Subscriber and volunteer so it doesn't really matter. I get free and exclusive benefits.

I'm sure it's wonderful to not wait 30 minutes to download files that are under a meg.

I give it 5 hours before it goes onto kazaa.

Filled with virii of course, and renamed "HAFLLIFEZ2WH?T/CS1.7.exe.zip.vir.tar".

um....everybody I think rizzuh said not to post links to Steam unless the link is officially supported by Valve Software because Steam 2.0 hasn't been publicly released yet.

rizzuh, why don't you host steam 2.0 on CS Nation, for CSNN's only?

because gamespy would lol when they realized people could get it for a lot less with no subscription off their same bandwidth.

and by lol i mean kill themselves.

I know a link to a place where you can download it! :O)

Too bad its not officially supported and I would be banned and I'd get my own marquee saying "BANNED FOR BEING BLACK (and not reading rules)" As pleasing as that all sounds, I love this website too much to trade it for :')

You'd have to be a real sucker to fall into gamespy's money trap. Use your heads.
