First, gg on the changes on the map. The map is tough from a T standpoint. This will make it interesting from both sides. However, I have to disagree with _shorty and keyboardstomp about the changes. 3-4 CT's can hold DD against 12 T's. It's been done and it's not hard. A couple of my communities have done this with above average players and only once did the 12 man rush get through DD to that bombsite. Once out of about 15-17 rounds is a bad percentage. Can you say nade, awp, spray fest through DD? I knew you could. Facilitating T's through DD is paramount for any type of split tactics from water/DD. Water is a bad route on the map if CT's can cover it. Assisting T by allowing cohesive movement from DD and water balances this map considerably. I say GG narby.

The DD is a death trap half the time, sure in a dream fairy land the Ts can rush the doors and win. But insert a grenade into each CTs hand and boom the dreams of rushing dd are crushed, you get owned rushing dd, a good nade spam can kill an entire rushing team. This box helps you not get gayed when you try to hide from the nades. w00t for narbyComment

The added blocks will not help you against HE's alot, but the removed high spawn of the CTs will help alot for the Ts to take BS-A.. The added blocks do give a little bit extra cover from the middle though.. And anyone saying a DD T-rush was already possible in the old Aztec has obviously never played a clanwar at descent level, because in those you get completly trashed with grenades & crossfire when you rush DD, it's a deathtrap 9/10 times, any clan not winning the CT-side loses the map bigtime.. These changes will make Aztec a little bit more balanced towards the T-side.. Together with the new smokegrenade etc I see alot of good tactical changes in CS 1.6..
P.s. it's still possible to 'quickshot' or snipe from 1 DD towards the other, the new blocks doesn't block that view..Comment

I like the layout changes alot. The little details, making it a dig site with lights etc are great too.
I had one problem with it thou, and that is with the water area textures. They are a little more darker and bigger then the earlier light green ones. I found that it was now much more difficult to distinguish terrorists there. I really liked the original water textures, and I noticed that you still have the same green tint on the walls. I would like it if you went back to the nice original green ones that gave the first aztec it's lovely character.Comment

Short review since there's not much to say on this.
Modelling is good, skinning is good (though not the best), custom animations are acceptable... um... yeah. I think the lack of anything to write just goes to show how 'genericly good' this model is. It's good, but has nothing really unique about it. Hey, at least it doesn't have any glaring errors to notice.
Rating a 7 because while it's good... it's also totally unimpressive and doens't stand out from the crowd at all. It's just... yet another deagle. There are better Deagles out there with more of a 'WOW' factor in the archives.Comment

I like this Desert Eagle a lot, the range of skins is great, I actually used the two gold before deciding on the WW2 Matte. It saddens me that you can have a wood grip on the p and w models and the lack of shield models, but guess what? I don't care about shields anymore so I'm using this. It's a really nice Deagle.Comment
