I've recently taken the decision to leave my job with Gearbox Software as a contractual level designer, and pursue some work that's a little more local. The sheer expense and time it takes to get a work visa in order to work and live in the United States is taking its toll on me and I've decided to look at other options.
I can honestly say that I've loved every minute working with Gearbox who provided my first break into a career I enjoy so much. I especially want to thank Randy Pitchford, Landon Montgomery, David Mertz, Stephen Palmer and Mike Wardwell for their help and support during my time working with them.
Since this is turning into a mini-blog, I may as well mention that I'm moving to Germany tomorrow to pursue a possible new job, but more on that if/when things work out.
I guess with all this going on my time will be somewhat short to be spent on personal projects, but I do intend to finish up HL:R, all be it a little later than planned. Here are a couple of new progress shots.
