One of the interviews with Gabe Newell conducted by Half-Life Radio has been posted on their site. This interview contains a lot of the main Half-Life 2 questions that you, the people, have been asking.

Half-Life Radio: Well Gabe, what our listening audience wants to know is, how's the game (Half-Life 2) coming?



Gabe Newell: Right now the game is basically complete end to end... and we are bringing in play tester after play tester. We watch them play, we see what sort of style play they use whether their more exploration vs. action and then we make sure the game works for them. So we just keep doing that over and over again. Each time we do a playtest we generate about 100 change items for the game, and then we go back ... until we feel the game is ready to go.

Anyway, was it just me or did he say they have converted the original Half-Life's singleplayer to work in Source? I would SO love to replay Half-Life in next-gen graphics.

I want my HL2 already. ATI with their HL2 for free with buying that video card, they better not screw us over ^^. But hey screw ATI and that, I am not going to wait 3-6 weeks to have them ship it :) I going straight to CompUSA June 1 and buying the first copy there ^^. Gabe, hurry up with the game, and good job :)

The ATi deal has been confirmed as still valid, just download it via Steam and enter your code when prompted. It will likely be pre-loaded as well, so you will be able to start playing immediately.

Wait, Wait. I don't see any HL2 preloader, sigh. Valve hasn't added it, damn it. Come on Valve impress me, I have bought every damn game you have made, and now I want my HL2 Preloader PLZ!?!?!?!?
