Off topic but I was wondering, howcome they never post on any cs related sites or anything. Are they too big for the community now or not even into the game anymore? I'd imagine if I made CS I'd be loving the fame and fortune. Just wondering

goose has never been much of a talker, even in the earlier days i dont think i ever saw him post on the forums, he's also very busy with CS2.



cliffe use to be very active on the forums and the website but i imagine hes a bit worn out with the game exceeding 4 years in age. Plus, there isn't much to talk about as of lately.

Seriously, look at the updates in the early days from www.counter-strike.net (via www.archive.org) - almost an update and forum post every few days



Now look at www.counter-strike.net, look at the last update - Not even a slight mention of 1.6 or future products.

I think they're a bit older than that. Maybe they were around that age when they started CS... I imagine them in their late 20s or early 30s now.



And of course, Happy Birthday guys. Thank you for this wonderful addicitive game that makes me lose sleep at nights and gives me more reason to stay home and sit my ass behind the computer. :)
