However, I'm not terribly impressed by these movies. We all get shit-ass lucky, and when using guns like the Desert Eagle and AWP is it really any surprise they're getting all of these kills? Make a video of them doing it with a P228 and UMP/Scout and I'll give them credit.
And the players most likely took demos, and gave it to whoever made the movie. So whoever made the movie must be cheating

But WRT the "why don't they use scouts/UMPs?", they're in clan matches, so they are generally going to use the best weapon for the job. And unfortunately, CS isn't evenly enough designed to make the scout or the UMP a viable choice in a match.Comment

Cool movie. I get those days sometimes. Where the bullets seem to hurt twice as much and goes thru like 4 people. And then there are days where I empty a whole clip into someone and I would barely kill them.
I feel the movies are interesting and I dont think there is any 'antirecoil script' dude, these people are good juts draggin the mouse down pullls the traget reticle back off recoil, DUH!!!
The reason why they keep checking their score is not because they are hungry to find themselves at the top of the score table, It is to see how many of the enemy are dead and to gauge the approximate skill of your next potential combat threat. So if you're left with n00bness with 0-7 you know that you might be able to risk a little knifage for example...
Anyhoo just sayin that depicturez 3 development by 3ztoker is going FANTASTIC and looks like it could be a winner grrreat map, nice hossies!!Will let you know.Comment

does anyone know the best software to use to make these movies? I've tried to make one in videomach and it would cut frames out. Is Adobe premiere any better?Comment

I agree, I would like to see a TMP skill video or some such, but it's quite unlikely given that anyone of sufficient skill to really impress me with their TMP mastery will probably never use a TMP in a game, because they almost simply don't consider it.
And perhaps also because you can't do 3 long-range TMP headshots in a row often, not becuase it's a difficult wepon, but because it's "minimum random spray area" even at its smallest is quite large, so anything good would be 90% blind luck, like unzoomed AWP shots.
Personally, I didn't think much of that video was any good, as a lot of it seemed like people wandering into spray (AnNuM in that gather being one).Comment
