    2003 CPL Qualis

It appears that The Cyberathlete Professional League is already organizing the 2003 spring qualifiers. I suggest reading the quote for more info!
The Cyberathlete Professional League and strategic partner iGames.org are already organizing the Qualifying Season for Spring 2003.

These worldwide CPL Qualifiers will be used to berth teams wanting to participate in the world's single largest computer game tournament in the history of the sport: The Counter-Strike $200,000 World Championships. The winners of this tournament will receive a world record setting $70,000 in cash and second place will receive $40,000.

Approximately 1,000 competitors from 50 different countries and another 2,000 spectators are expected at the CPL Summer 2003 Championship Event. The Summer event will also host a large music concert for 3,000 people and the largest giveaway in the history of the league.

If you manage a LAN Event or Gaming Center and would like to participate in this historic event, send an email to Carol Bennett at carol@igames.org. For faster response include the words "CPL Qualifier Spring 2003" on the subject line of your email.
This is pretty much a call to all LAN center owners to email Carol. It is also free advertising for the CPL. I am forced to post this, because if I do not rizzuh will spank me. Hard.

Wow, I never pondered up until now why it's called the 2002 Counter-Strike $200,000 Championship, if the prize is only $70,000 for first place.

at the pre-quals, you dont bring your own comp either, only your mouse, mousepad, and headphones (maybe keyboard) so im pretty sure h4x arent already on the tourney comps
