Fooled me too, but just think: although chess or checkers won't help directly with CS, they help develope a tactical way of thinking which can be usefull

in gaming (probably more in RTS then in FPS though).

Sorry, I wasn't trying to say that there was something inherrently wrong with 13 year olds. However, I myself at 13 was a complete and utter idiot, with no real sense of maturity in dealing with things.



I don't know DocUK's age, and I wasn't trying to reference it directly as a number, just trying to state that it was a case of immaturity, no matter what the age was. There's definitely other 13 year olds out there that show much more maturity and professionalism, which is good to see.
