The fact is that both articles, the original and the one DocUK made Counter-Strike-ish by doing a Find & Replace, make little-to-no sense.
Absolutely correct. When I first read the article, I actually felt SORRY for this guy because it seemed like he wanted to go somewhere interesting but didn't have the right directions. Now it all makes sense.
As for those unlucky enough to comment on how they had received Zen-like insight when they read it, now you know why. It turned out to be some sort of unintentional koan.

When I figured out what was going on (while the article was still up), I have to admit I felt pretty dumb, thus the change in title to "Gullible Moderator" that night. Yeah, had this been April 1, and DocUK gotten permission to reprint the article (with modifications), then things would have gone over a lot better. I figured he had already discussed this with rizzuh before posting it, and as I said in the earlier comments, "I bet rizzuh and DocUK are having a good laugh over this," but as we all see that was certainly not the case.
Hopefully there's not too many hard feelings over this, and we don't lose too many future matches trying to control the center of the map. :)Comment
