    Ericsson SK Article

Your favorite cellphone company, Ericsson, has written an article on professional gaming. It is entitled Games give fame, and is a page long. It focuses on Schroet Kommando's coach, Andreas Thorstensson, better known as bds in the CS world.
Andreas Thorstensson coached the winning team, Schroet Kommando (SK). He says the team is made up of professional players, which means they practice up to eight hours a day. After the win in Dallas they can regard themselves as world champions.
Eight hours a day? No wonder we get owned by them at the CPL. It is a good article, so if you're interested than read it here.

Each side has access to different guns, equipment, and different abilities.
Different abilities? wtf? and different equipment (aside from the defuse kit)?

It'll be more relevant with CS 1.6. The riot shield, if at all popular, can change the game a lot. (Probably won't though.)

                Whoa that is too much.

Maybe somebody should tell them Half-Life is in the computer games section at Wal-Mart not sporting goods.

Ericsson? Bah. As soon as they make a cell phone with a decent screen I could buy one. Now I just have to stick with my Nokia 3310.

Why am I telling you this?

sure, they win some money or whatever, but what about the crosshair burn-in on your retina from playing cs that much?

8 hours a day? I'm sorry but this video game playing (not sport) is getting out of control, sk needs to get off their bums and let the blood flow every once in a while, otherwise doctor G is gonna hafta amputate their bum bums.

8 hours a day seems like nothing special. I barely play CS 8 hours a month now but back in the betas 8 hours a day would've been the norm for me and my friends.
