This coming Monday the 21st at 9:30 AM and 6 PM EST, TechTV will be airing a behind-the-scenes look at Kiyash Monsef's upcoming documentary about Counter-Strike, Gamers: A Documentary. The documentary examines the meteoric rise of CS from a mere Half-Life mod to its current status as the most popular online first person multi-player game and the enormous community it has created along the way, culminating with action from the 2002 CPL Summer Event. The documentary will also feature interviews with Cliffe, John Romero, and Angel Munoz, to name a few.
For more details about the documentary, including a sneak preview video, visit its site at TheGamingProject.com or read Action Vault's recent interview with Kiyash Monsef here.
Update: Kiyash wrote me an e-mail to let me know that he's currently hard at work editing the documentary, and hopes to have it finished by the end of the year. Distribution avenues haven't been fully arranged yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out how to catch the full documentary.
