Wow! I wish all the CS maps could get a nice facelift before CS1.6 is unleashed. After all, not everyone has a pentium2 anymore..

Bout time someone put them to good use. Havana sucks on pubs but looks beautiful :P

One thing that springs to mind is that roof texture.



The roof texture looks cartoonish compared with the somewhat photoreal wall and ground textures.



Look at the screenshots. The roof tiles look 'off'.

Aztec is competition for dust as is, and it'll only get better. Competition doesn't have to be good you know.

i dont like the new textures.. they make the map look small...

The map as it stands now has a middle east indian type feel to it. Like your in a little market place in a little village out in the desert. These new textures make it more like something out of italy.

Your probably thinking that because the skybox is the same as italy's.
