CS-Nation's s0phiZtry has sat down with the first clan to beat 3D in a CAL-I match: Team Ipx. In the interview, with Ipx's syn and Park, we learn how much practice went into the 3D match's preparation, what the future of Ipx looks like, and that I went to school with a CAL-I level player! It must be worth reading! Here's a tidbit:

CS-Nation: Great win Thursday over 3D, most people would have predicted you to lose. Did Ipx practice a little more for this match than you usually would for other matches?



TeamIpx|Park: Yah we did, because we had a brand new roster change a week before.

TeamIpx|syn: Well recently we've just been practicing like a mofo 'cause of our new roster. 3D was just a little part of it, we just wanted to get our chemistry down

It was over 4:00am here and the match hadn´t started yet (it was supposed to start at 3:30am) so i just went to sleep.

i dont see why ppls cry hax/cfg when a team beats 3d. no doubt 3d are.. what some call the "best"... but it doesnt mean they cant lose. ipx played very well that night. i watched the entire match and from the pov of ipx.



some say it might the cbble curse for x3... but no matter the map, i doubt it is easy to beat 3d.

The interview was done on Friday/Saturday I believe. We didn't put it up because of the server problems.
